I just became a grandfather less than two weeks ago.
Had I known grandchildren were so much fun, I'd have had them first!

To be perfectly honest, I'd have to say I "enjoy" more the experience of being a grandparent.
There was a lot to enjoy about raising our own children, too, but also a lot that was less than enjoyable. Parenting is darn hard work! And the responsibilities are enormous, as are the worries.
All of these, for the most part, are magically removed from grandparenting and what is left is simply to ENJOY!

I'm not a Grandma YET (sigh.....), but I'm quite sure I'll enjoy it far more than being the parent!
You get to send them home when they're naughty, spoil them, and teach them all the naughty little songs or jokes that their parents used to embarrass you with!!
I can hardly wait.........

Definitely bein a Grandma (my name is Koo-Koo...aptly named by my grandson LOL) No worries. He has GREAT parents, thank God, and is such a total antidepressant.Being a parent was really tough...it was my JOB to raise a productive and independent woman. Which I DID but it certainly was not FUN by any means.

I adored both my children and my grandchildren, but I would have to go with grandchildren because there's more of them. I never could have more than the two children so this many gkids makes up for it.

i haven't even became a parent yet ..I'm just a wife andI'm only 32 not in no ruysh to be a MOM ..My husband could careless if we have kids or not .Like I said we'rre only 32 years old
