Greatest Member of Congress serving today. Actually has the courage to stand up to the owners of the Federal Reserve (by seeking to abolish the private corporate monopoly that controls U.S. monetary policy and perpetuates an endless list of social ills) rather than appear on stage as a puppet to the owners of the Federal Reserve like Bush, Clinton(s), Guiliani, Obama, McCain, Edwards, Romney, Thompson or Gingrich.

Show me one instance where any of the puppets that parade before us have sought to abolish the private ownership of the Federal Reserve and I'll bend over and kiss my own ****.

Ron Paul is a patriot. Nearly everyone else is a puppet.

Ron Paul is a decent man who longs for a return to the Constitutional principles that our Founding Fathers outlined at our nation's birth. He's the only real conservative out there: he's for small government, low taxes, strong military, open markets, and having government stay the hell out of places it's not wanted, like people's bedrooms.

And his chance of election is practically zero, because he's never going to get enough money to get his messge out. Neither the established parties nor their big-money corporate owners want to return to small government. Conservatives SAY they want small government, but they don't, really, because then there would be less for them to control.

I like Ron Paul. I think his ideas would cause major upheaval in the United States, but might leave us with a stronger nation onne the dust settles.

Point in fact: the Supreme Court could achieve everything that Ron Paul wants done by making one simple decision: that the powers enumerated in the Constitution are the ONLY powers that the federal government has. All other powers belong to the states or the people. If they would so rule, everything Ron Paul wants would come to pass.

And, if I read the Constitution correctly, this is exactly how it SHOULD be.

Like most politicians he strikes me as a decent person trying his best. Weather I agree with him or not does not and should not affect my personal opinion of him

Why is all politics personal now? What does your personal opinion have to do with a candidate. My understanding is that Abraham Lincoln was a depressive person to be around and George Washington was arrogant. LBJ liked to call people into the bathroom for meetings and Warren Harding had his girlfriend under the desk giving him a humper while talking to his aides. I may have found all of these men to be lacking in my personal opinion but we are not electing people because we like them.

For example I dislike Rudy Giuliani, he made a pass at my son's mother twenty years ago when he was State's Attorney and was a jerk when she told him she was married. Personally he is a creep. But as mayor I thought he was pretty good and voted for him. I don't think he will be a good President but it has nothing to do with my personal feelings for him

I like Ron Paul. Even though I am a Democrat, if he gets the Republican nod, he has a chance of getting my vote. There is not a single other Repub candidate that has a chance of me voting for him. Paul is the only hope the GOP has for a candidate that can draw votes outside of the party lines.

He has no money and no support from his party's base. He has no chance of winning the primary, short of the death of all of his opponents and even a smaller chance of winning the Presidency. I think that I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning twice on a clear day than he has of becoming President.

He seems pretty decent as a candidate. I fear he won't get far though. Money has alot to do with it and people are too stupid to truely see a candiates strengths and weaknesses.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian in a Republican disguise. He's no different than a liberal. He might find more support by campaigning for the Democratic Party. If liberals are liking him, then I know NOT to vote for the guy.
