The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, by Mark Hadden. So good it was the fastest book I ever read. I was sad when I was done because I was going to miss reading it.

A short one is the bestseller, How Full is your Bucket?. I finished it in several hours, and it's very interesting. It's by Tom Rath.
