i was just told today that a zillion contractors heard that michael jordan was going to buy this house across the street from mine. he stayed 2 houses up the road for a week once. If you know anything about this please tell me.

Why doesn't Michael Jordan disappear in North Carolina like his father? It would be considered a good move.

You are hearing rumors, and nothing more. Perhaps Mr. Jordan viewed the property as a potential purchase, and the grapevine has gone wild.
In most cases of the rich and famous, extreme confidentiality is used in handling such purchases, even to the point of making the offer to purchase in someone else's name, and then assigning the right to purchase immediately before closing.
