Whenever I click on a URL in my e-mail services (either Yahoo or Incredimail), the target web page comes up in Internet Explorer, which I have little use for. OS is XP Home SP2.

P.S. "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser" has always been checkmarked.

Go to start>Control Panel> Internet Options (classic view)> Programs tab
and make sure that your default programs are as you want them.

There will be times when IE will jump up and open something, but if you want Firefox as the default net browser, try this. In the Firefox browser, click Tools and the Options. In the Options window, click "General" and at the bottom of the page put a check in "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on setup.

tools tab at the top of the browser. as soon as it opens look at the bottom of the main section.
