and then we wonder why al-qaeda has increased its operations five fold in the last couple years. the bush circus lost vision on the war on terror to appease Big Oil. it's been six years and we've to catch bin laden....it's a shame.

Because Iraq has been on his agenda since before he was elected. 9/11 was used as his excuse to invade Iraq.

If he had just sent our entire military to Afghanistan to hunt down Bin Laden, Al Qaeda and the Taliban, they would have accomplished that by now, won world support, the support of the vast majority of Americans, and we would be alot safer now. He could have declared a true "Mission Accomplished" for Afghanistan and our real enemies and then could have moved on with his phony war. At least one major objective would have been reached.

By invading Iraq and Afghanistan at the same time, he has lost the trust of the world, divided our forces, stretched our military, divided our country, wasted the lives of our military, and wasted hundreds of billions of dollars, pushing one trillion soon. On top of this, our true enemy is still out there.

He doesn't want to kill him, he is big buddies with Ben's family especially a broher. I read somewhere that the Bush's were distance relatives of Ben Laden's. The day of 9/11 his brother was staying across the street from the Pentagon in their embassy.

To Bush and his minions Osama Bin Laden is irrelevant, I think they called it. So why spend millions or later billions on someone they see as irrelevant when they can go after someone who was no threat to us but Bush has a vendetta against?

and we wonder why the Republican congress didn't investigate the war time spending and now the Democrats are...hmmmm. Maybe it was because we secured the oil when we first invaded before we even secured the known weapon stashs.

you just keep on asking questions about Iraq, and I guarantee one thing. You won't get answers. At least logical answers that is. There are none. But seriously, we need to keep asking questions. We need to know why. Republicans are fond of saying , "it doesn't matter how we got there, we just need to finish the job". News flash, it does matter how we got there. It matters very much. If we got there under false pretenses, someone needs to be held accountable.

It's crazy isn't it. I've been asking that same question for years now.

A crazy radical Muslim named Osama bin Laden personally confesses to the attacks on the WTC on a videotape, he then goes and hides in Afghanistan while promising more attacks upon the US... and then we go and invade Iraq and target Saddam Hussein!

Am I missing something here?!

Reagan is turning in his grave!
