would look a little odd but i highly doubt people would snicker or think badly of you. Think of it this way, the only people who are going to notice or really care what youre wearing are the people sitting on benches not gettting exercise, just by running you look better than them (not taht that is particularily important)

Hey, who cares. Live in the moment.

Try it and if it feals uncomfortable then perhaps you can keep a change a clothes in your car or at work in case you get the urge again.

well yah you could go running in jeans. the thing is you'd get stuffy and such. you could always roll up the bottoms to like knee length.

Honestly, why do you care what anyone thinks? You are actually getting up and doing something - so I say go for it and dress however you want.

I think it would look fine, unless they're low riders or ridiculously tight. You're not going in the water, are you?

I would think shorts would be more appropriate + they would be easier to run in.

No. As long as you're doing something to get rid of those side bumpers, it doesn't matter what you wear.

I don't think it would look dumb at all and wouldn't give it another thought .
