The only way to stop them is to destroy their nuke facilities. The only countries with both the means & the will to do so are the US & Israel. Israel probably needs their nukes to do the job. We can do it with conventional weapons. I hope we do it because if Israel nukes them the fallout, both political & radioactive would be disasterous.

Let's think about this rationally.
If they really want nuclear power and not bombs, I'd say let's work with them and give them the technology under the condition that we have full, unhindered, and continuous access to their facilities to verify beyond a shadow of a doubt that they're not refining weapons grade uranium.
In addition to allowing us access, we get a deep discount on the petrol and agree to a non-aggression treaty so everyone plays nice.
This might seem counter intuitive to the folks that have relied solely on the "news" media to feed their fear frenzy over Iran. But the reality is, if we don't do it, Russian and/or China will, so what's the point. We need to do business and in having unfettered access, we keep everyone safe and everyone gets what they want.
If they are truly hell bent on building a bomb they'll turn our offer down flat, at which point we'll have 10 years to figure out our next move because by our own best estimates, that's how long it's going to take them to develop a nuke, if in fact, that's what their doing.
Think about it,
Just because you're sitting on a large reserve of oil doesn't preclude you from figuring out how you're going to get energy once the crude is gone; and, with the world's demand for the stuff increasing exponentially, you'd be crazy NOT to be thinking about plan B.
It's not like Iran has the climate to sustain growing sugar to make ethanol like Brazil, so maybe instead of continuing the pissing contest, we get down to some serious business and come up with a solution that will be mutually beneficial for all.

The main question is who gives any country the right to have nuclear capability. Is it OK for Israel to have it but not it's enemy. For Pakistan and India to have it and not Iran. Why can the US have it and not Iran. I guess that it is important that all countries stop building bombs and then they can take the highroad and say that no one else can.
My answer to what I would do if I was the king of the world for one day is to destroy every bomb that the world has. But I am not king of the world. We want to be the leader of the world, why don't we start destroying the stockpiles of bombs. Or at the very least turn the bombs away from the middle east. Maybe they will then care what we say.

Well, unfortunately if Iran wants an A bomb it's only a matter of time. The only way to stop them would be bomb them back to the stone age. The people of Iran are wonderful people it's the leadership that's the problem. Talking helps, seeking to understand Helps, being an example the rest of the world is willing to follow would be the best. But that would require a lot of forgiveness on every ones part...not likely but if we focus on peace we'll get peace, if we focus on not going to War, we get War. Pray for Peace!

Iran can not mount an air attack over Israel and has no desire to realize this, because of the fact of U.S. and Israeli satellite tv for pc surveillance, because of the fact the CIA is on the floor in Iran, because of the fact American defense force surrounds Iran and Israel has better air potential. Iran would not desire to have interaction in conflict. They dont have warheads for nuclear weapons. they are extra fascinated in doing company with different worldwide places, no longer attacking every physique. at the instant it is missiles no longer bombs. Iran isn't drumming up motives to attack every physique. The U.S. and Israel are becoming the ambience and justification for attacking Iranian nuclear centers. you have it backwards. i could hardship extra approximately what the U.S. does to kill populations off than Iran. Write on your Senator and representative and exhibit your desire that the U.S. and Israel quit threatening Iran.

Blow up it's nuclear facilities. Yes, with nukes. Yes, I'm aware of the irony.
I don't think leadership is really required. There are not a lot of sites that need to be hit, any nuclear power besides North Korea could do it.

Since their leader likes to quote religious texts lets bomb the hell of of them for 40days and 40 nights. Just announce if you don't want to die be out of Iran in 48hours. Then on the 48th hour obliterate it and leave it destroyed as a warning.

instead of opposing them, support them so we can monitor where this material goes. help them build these power plants so it is clear that they stick to their assurances that it's not for weapons.
