Buying them with out a prescription isn't safe. The colored ones that you can buy with out a prescript. have been proven to cause MAJOR problems with the cornea, etc etc, resulting in blindness. Maybe talk to your optometrist about getting a colored pair by his reccomendation.

You need to go to an optometrist to get a prescription for contacts. This is really for your safety as you do not want to wear just any contacts. Places like Pearl Vision, or any number of chain spots have specials all the time, like a free exam or half-price lenses with the exam. They are also more likely to have contacts in stock.
Some offer a free pair of single vision glasses with contacts, or sunglasses.

I would have to say no because an contact eye exam cost more than a regular glasses exam......... Everyone qualify to wear glasses but not everyone are suited to wear contact. Also, when you get a contact exam, they give you a free trail to try it out and they train you on how to care for your contact and eyes. Unlike glasses, contact cause more infections and damages to eyes if not taken care of........I highly recommend going through the doctor to get started on contact. =)

Yes you do. You need to not only learn how to put them on but they also need to measure your eye and the perscription in your eye. your eyes are diffrent sizes from everyone. Some people have huge eyes some dont... I wear contacts and its not possible to buy them without knowing the size and cirumfrence of your eye. You also need to learn how to clean them. Trust me see a Doctor if you want contact lenses. Its worth it rather than getting a huge infection in your eye.

properly in case you understand a save that sells contacts permit me understand because of the fact this is in all risk greater convenient than what I do. yet regardless of the place you get them from, you prefer the touch prescription and that's no longer the same because of the fact the prescription to your glasses. Contacts might desire to be distinctly suited for the guy's eye and prescription. in many circumstances once you pass to the attention scientific expert he will supply you a tribulation pair for each week or so and then have you ever come back back to ascertain how they seem on your eye, information on the thank you to ascertain in them, etc. actual however, do no longer under any situations attempt to debris with contacts without first getting a prescription out of your eye scientific expert. using contacts without surprising understanding the thank you to place them in, preserve them, etc, can case everlasting harm to our eyes, and you will finally end up worse off. So in basic terms call your eye scientific expert and get a consultation for contacts. this is properly worth all of it.
