Our city arrests anyone who even CARRIES a skateboard downtown. Forget riding it. Believe me, its not about vandalism. We have a crime problem in our town that does not have anything to do with skateboarders, but skaters are the easy target. So you can hook, deal drugs or shoot your neighbor and get away with it, but don't you dare SKATEBOARD in this town. The cops are all over that CRIME!!

Ride a skateboard and go to jail? No.
Ride a skateboard, damaging private property and go to jail? Absolutely.
There is the part many skaters fail to point out. They weren't arrested for skating, they were arrested for vandalism and trespassing. Rightfully so.
