How about some cardio? You need to take time for yourself, alot of gyms have drop in daycare, and you can take some classes and be around adults daily. Also - cardio improves your mood, your appearance and your energy level.

It appears you chose to become a mom and that is your life now well njot if you don't want it to be. This is one of the reasons there are daycares and babysitters. If you miss your job and the daily grind of working then maybe it is time to go back to work and get a daycare or babysitter to take care of the kids. Who know this may help your marriage and help with your finances too. Life is too short to live unhappy and if not working in the job market is frustrating for you then it is time to return to work.

I know exactly what you mean, I worked full time until I had my daughter, but being on maternity leave made me realize that I would go crazy being home all the time. The answer is to work part-time. It's just right. You have enough time with your child, and you get out into the world for a while too.

How old are the children? If they are still not of school age I would try to find some play groups to get involved in so you have other moms to share with who understand how you are feeling. You could also get a hobby, or get involved in something for just you like a class or something.

If you can, wait until they are in school to start working again. Daycare can be so scary and rough on a child. If you don't have to put them in one I would avoid it at all costs.

Personally, I just don't know how you have time to be bored. I know when I was taking care of my kids at home there was never a free moment to even think of getting bored. You are doing something that is really important by being there for your kids. Try to focus on how important that makes you to them. It really is a good things. You've just got to get used to being there and finding things to do to keep it fun!

I hope you can work through it.

I have been working for years and if I decided to be a full time mom that would be enough for me to go back to work.

Find hobbies that are fun with your children and keep yourself busy with activities with their schools.

You have taken a big leap from the working world to a full time mom. I feel you have taken on more responsibilities and I praise you. Hope that you can work out your frustrations and God Bless your strength.

I'm a full time father and I go through this as well. I take a lot of deep breaths and remind myself tomorrow is a new day, fresh outlook.

Hmm, maybe I misread this... I work full time and am a single parent. I have little clue what personal time is these days. I keep myself busy and surrounded by friends.

you worked for over 10 years as a full time mom OR
you worked for over 10 years and are a full time mom?
either way, you have kids....you have to deal with it. but to cope, you may need to take a break from your reality and go on a kid-free trip with your significant other or friends. just take some time for yourself before you flip your lid.
please take a break! mom's need to take breaks every now and again.

So try and ease your way back into the workforce. By "ease your way back in", I mean try to take on a part-time or temp job, get back into the feel of things and try and go back to work.
