Probably the plant is going to die because it draws nutrients from the soil through it's roots into the plant and both chemicals will be absorbed, too. If I were you, I'd head out to the nursery or home improvement center, find one about the same size, looks about the same, plant it in the pot or fess up taking the consequences.

You might be able to save it if you take the plant outside and gently dump the dirt out of the plant, wash all the dirt from the roots, and then very easily replace the dirt with new dirt. Obviously potting soil would be best... use a shower water setting so that it wont harm the roots - they can bruise. If you get the plant out of the container into something fresh and then plant the plant again so that the roots do not suffer too harshly from changing it, it may live. It might loose some of the leaves, but you may be able to save it. Good luck.

hopefully he's not the abusive type...
generally, cleaning chemicals of any type are not good for plants. the pine sol may not be too bad, because it is not very poisonous or corrosive
the bleach, however, is toxic and corrosive, and will quickly be absorbed by the plant and harm it.
if this was a mistake and you want to fix it, i suggest transplanting the plant into new soil in a new pot as soon as possible, getting rid of as much of its current soil as possible, then give it the biggest dose of water you can without drowning it

bleach and pine sol are not a good mix regardless of what you plan on killing with it, you may end up killing your self by doing that, it will cause a chemical reaction and if very harmful do not breath those fumes, and it will kill the plant no doubt and possible u 2

Dig out the plant and repot it. Everytime you go to water it now, the chemical will soak into the soil.

That's effed up. I'd want to pour it down whoever did it's throat. I like plants and animals a lot more than I like most people.

Why would you do this? The plant is history. Be sure to keep pets away from that area as well.

The plant will more than likely die from the chemicals. But If he smokes that plant before it dies, it may harm him. ;)
