Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer and Thin Air by Rachel Caine are two books I'm really looking forward to in August, 2007. Both are installments in established series.

My book, My Familiar, also just became available through amazon.com on June 1st. It might be biased but I consider it good LOL It will be available through Barnes and Noble at the end of the month. I'm including the amazon link if you're interested.

What kind of books do you think are good. There are a lot of popular authors who are coming out with new books this year. If you like the author you might think the book is good, regardless of any hype around it.

For example, I really like Dean Koontz. He just released a book called "The good Guy" and I think it will be a good book... even though there is no hype around it.

Ask at your local book store. We usually have a list of books that are, what we call "Strict on Sale"... for the month, so we'll know what will be released on what days (sorta like DVD releases)

OH, and the person above says "The time traveller's wife".. which is a good book, but it's been out for a while. Been out since 2004 I think. But they are making a new movie out of it, so now might be the perfect time to pick it up.

Check out Laurie Notaro, she has quite a few "chick-lit" compilation books out- "The Idiot Girl's Action Adventure Club" was her first and she has about 4 other's after that, but she just released her first novel- "There's a (Slight) Chance I Might Be Going to Hell: A Novel of Sewer Pipes, Pageant Queens, and Big Trouble"

Another oldie but a goodie is the Janet Evanovich "One for the Money: A Stephanie Plumb Novel" it's a series, I believe they are up to 13 of them. It's whitty and fun, and a very fast read!

Enjoy your summer reading!

Go to Amazon.com and search:
"Lost from Atlantis Book 1"
"Death by Murder David Lindsay" - you have to search that way or the title doesn't come up. There's a lot of sex and violence in that one but it's not gratuitous. It didn't come out in 2007, but it was written then.
and "Super Spaghetti."
They're all by David A. Lindsay.

They're free if you have Kindle Unlimited, and you can get a free trial of that - Google how.
If you don't have a Kindle you can get a free smartphone app from Google Play, or read it online - all free.
