15 in the local supermarket. It was awful but at least it taught me the value of money and I never took my parents for granted after that!

When I was 7 my first job was in the school holidays delivering coal on a tips only basis. By the age of 10 I'd saved 14/6p (73p sterling) and thought I was a millionaire. Worked on the fairground from age 11, left school aged 14 and started in a factory right away. Have done at least two jobs (one paid and one voluntary ever since). I've never left my home city other than holidays and pilgrimages, but I've had one fantastic adventure as a nurse, model, gardener,
ape-keeper, counsellor, priest, social worker, teacher, author, broadcaster, charity founder, entertainer, family member, prison visitor ........ ain't life wonderful!

Babysat since 11 or 12 but got a real job at 16....a little less than 2 months after I turned it. I've been working non-stop every since...meaning I've never been unemployed but had different jobs of course. I would have to kill myself if I were still working the same place as I did at 16. YIKES!

Baby sitting at 15, paper round at 15.
First proper job from leaving school 16, I worked in a supermarket. Not exiting I know but I got a wage and loved spending it.

When I was 13 I started babysitting then when I turned 14 I got a job in a cafe aswell.

I'm currently 17, and got my first official job the week of my birthday this year. So I was 16 at the time.
But I've been babysitting, housesitting and petsitting since I was 12.
