Naaaaah. Come on...I think if your name is "Tank" you should be able to carry all the guns you want. Lol.
But in all seriousness, I think a year is the right punishment for Pacman. If not, I'd go longer. From what we've seen, has he learned his lesson? Hell no. He went to a strip club THE NIGHT BEFORE his meeting with Comissioner Goodell. What a model athlete. I know he wasn't indicted...yet...but he was involved in a shooting, whether he shot or not. Tank is just well-armed.
Meanwhile, Tank Johnson has paid his dues to society, but must still accept responsibility for his actions at his job, the NFL. I'm in no way a Bears fan, and I thought it was ridiculous that a judge let him play in the Super Bowl, but I think 8 games is fair, seeing how he has at least vowed to change his ways.

No. Tank Johnson openly apologized for what he did wrong and agreed to work with Goodell to do anything he could to correct it in the best interest of the league. Pacman appealed the ruling and denied his own punishment saying that it was unfair. I believe this is an issue of morals and priorities. Pacman's suspension is not too long. If you want to know more about Tank's apology, you can read the Yahoo! Sports article at the URL listed below.

Considering that Tank Johnson served jail time for failing his probation and got 8 probably 6 games and Pacman didnt do nothing but be everywhere trouble was and never got arrested for anything I think a year is to long.A 5 game suspension should be punishment enough

The NFL commish made the main appropriate determination by utilising postponing Pacman Jones and Chris Henry . The NFL has to set a coverage for habit and anticipate it to be commemorated . The NFL is a buisness entity no longer outdoor soccer the place athletes can act out their thuggish fantasies. Pacman has been arrested 5 situations considering 05' and suspended final season for 2 video games . the fees on Pacman would be extreme and he will face assorted proceedings from the persons that replaced into shot up . If Pacman needs to run together with his thug team from the projects and stay in worry each and all the time he should not be interior the NFL .

Pacman has been arrested 12 times. I don't care if he wasn't convicted of anything, you don't get arrested 12 times for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Tank Johnson has had 1 charge, possetion of firearms. There might be another but im not sure. Johnson has been living a clean life ever since the superbowl, which isn't that long, but he is suspened from half the season, thats a long time. Pacman deserved the season, arrested 12 times, look at the other people suspended for a season, Rickey Williams, and Odel Thurman, these guys all did REALLY bad things to get that. Johnson definatly did do a bad thing, but has been cleaning himself up

No. Tank served time in jail and his response to the Commish was way more convincing. For example Pac Man being at a Vegas strip club the night before the meeting. I do think he should of gave all the 3 the same suspensions but still harsh just to keep all the appealing and commosion aside. But hey thats what he gets paid to do and it is what it is.

Pacman's suspension needs to be reconsidered. It is to harsh. He has not even been convicted yet. I think they used Pacman to set an example, yet the first suspension under the new guy in charge, was way to harsh, especially being that it is prior to any convictions.

I hate Pacman, but yes it is too long. I feel that any suspension before a conviction is too long. Why does the NFL feel that they are smarter than the legal system? It's just wrong to use the court of public opinion to decide a player's fate.

No. Pacman is a multiple time repeat offender and Tank has already served jail time. Plus, Pacman's not following the league's regiment to possibly return early (i.e. counselling, etc).

Yes. Tank was in jail while Pacman wasn't. It's unfair. Pacman hasn't been found guilty of any of those crimes while Tank has.
