To me these clowns are in the public eye measuring the current level of public gullibility! Hence if you believe the crap coming out of their mouths then you will go along with what ever they tell in the future.

I think the majority of legal citizens have had enough of being preyed on.

The truth is these people are "neither fish nor fowl" as my grandmother used to say. They want the world at large to believe they are both. Jesus said that no one can serve two masters so they (the politicians) can only choose politics over religion.

They can and are putting a good show for the public because that's what their "spin doctor" tells them to do but they is all they are doing.

So my answer is yes - this display does indeed make me want to take a Tums or an Alka Seltzer - depending on the politician I'm listening to at the time.

I do believe that are good politicians who believe in God and who are saved but just because a politician says that he or she prays he or she cannot claim to be a righteous or religious person - especially when their actions prove that they have neither moral nor Christian values.

That goes not only for individual politicians but for political parties. I'm tired of political parties claiming to be "holier than thou" and then using some of the dirtiest political tricks and smear campaigns that ever been seen.

I just signed up to be a Unity08 Delegate, and I'm inviting you to sign up too.

What is Unity08?

Unity08 is a group of citizens deeply concerned about the current state of our political system. We believe that the intense partisanship in Washington coupled with the same-old campaigns financed by big special interest groups means the voices of Americans like you and I will continue to be ignored. And we're ready to take our country back.

Together, Delegates will work to fix our broken political system by nominating and electing a woman and/or man from each major party to serve on the Unity08 ticket for president and vice president in 2008. We're doing it all online and you don't have to leave your current party to participate. Click here to join us:

Not sure? Find out if being a Unity08 Delegate is for you by answering a few questions:

For me the one that will get my vote is the politician that will have the guts to say ...... "My religion is my private business and it does not belong in the theater of politics."
This country is not a catholic, or a baptist, or a methodist government. It is a democracy and whether a politician is or is not religious will never enter into my voting decision.

The religious commentary came from the Republicans not from the Democrats. Does this mean that Democrats aren't religious? Nope~ It means that Democrats keep religion out of politics and this is the way it should be.

Unlike you, I was taught to respect other people's religious ideals. It isn't my place, or yours, to judge a politician's faith, or anyone's faith for that matter. If you were a real Christian you would already know that. If you aren't religious then what would you know about faith in any case?
