I think to myself that MAYBE if I live long enough I will be THAT OLD LADY at the grocery store looking for change, etc.
Don't complain about old age, it is a privilege denied many.
Grow up and have some patience! You don't know what all this person has been through in their lives and I'm sure their years of wisdom could teach you a thing or two about respecting your elders.
If I were that lady, and heard you tapping your foot and sucking your teeth, I'd turn around and bring my cane across your legs so you couldn't tap them anymore and my fist would send you to the dentist looking for dentures!

I usually wait patiently remembering that I will be that woman someday and I wouldn't want some bitchy young girl be tapping her feet at me and sucking her teeth loudly. Or if I'm in a hurry I just give her the change if I have it. Pick your battles your going to have a heart attach soon if you get that pissed off at every old lady taking to long.

Just be patient. And realize that the old lady is someone's grandma, and would I want some impatient, rude, bratty little biyatch tapping her feet and sucking her teeth at my grandma? I tell myself, no, I would not. Then I shut the fock up.

when people are doing that i usually just give them a dollar or something so they dont have to find the exact change... its so much faster that way. :]
