It's chilly here too. Weird for June. This will work with a beef roast, pork roast or chicken. Put the meat in a oven safe dish. Cover (and I mean drown) the meat in BBQ sauce. Cook over very low heat, 325 or so for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours for chicken or 3 hours for pork and beef. The house will smell incredible. Pull apart meat and put on sweet potatoes, mash potatoes, rice, or make sandwiches on big hoagie rolls. So good!

How about some oven roasted meatballs to plant on top of a platter of spaghetti smothered with red sauce.
Sorry my stars are gone.

get all the ingredients for shepards pie and a apple pie that has already been made. make the shepards pie.....put in oven to golden brown it, turn oven on low. when you sit down for dinner put the apple pie in. the oven on low will continue to keep the house warm. and the added warmth of the pie will help.......also yummy combination.
