On mondaymorning he was supposed to call some number to make sure he was needed, but he didnt do that either.

should we call the court house where he was supposed to do jury duty and see what if any action should be taken?
cause where he was supposed to do it is in a different county from ours.

depending on if they did need him he could have a warrant put out for his arrest
i'd call in and tell them an emergency came up and they'll probably just set him up with a new day to go
just cant do that too many times

Tell him to call the court right away. Same thing happened to me last year, and the folks at the court didn't chew me a new one. They just gave me a new jury duty date and said don't bother calling to find out if they need you; just show up. As long as he calls in and admits he screwed up he should be OK. If he ignores it and hopes it'll go away, it won't. They'll issue a warrant for contempt and he'll end up seeing the judge anyway, only this time it won't be for jury selection. Not good. Tell him to call. I'm betting they'll work it out.

Now, probably nothing. Some excitable judges will put out bench warrants to arrest those who haven't shown up for jury duty, but if your husband was not tracked down yesterday, that probably didn't happen.
He should probably call the clerk's office, say that it slipped his mind and will be willing to enter the jury pool again shoudl the need arise, and make sure there are no outstanding warrants for failure to appear.

This ran in my paper today. Which it basically says 'they CAN be' held in contempt, not 'they will be'. So he needs to call. Not you, him.
+++++Judge orders prospective jurors to report
MYTOWN -- Judge *********** issued 42 show cause summons for potential jurors in BLANKBLANK County Circuit Court, who did not answer the roll call for court Monday morning.
The 42 need to contact Circuit Clerk **** ******'s office at 555-1234 today or they receive a summons by mail.
The 42 no shows can be held in contempt of court for not being present in the courtroom Monday morning. ++++++++

It all depends who's handling the paperwork. If you get a nice person on a good day, they'll let it go. However, I would highly recommend him actually calling in explaining the fact that he forgot, because he can be charged with contempt if he doesn't.

he can get in trouble via fine or jail. contempt of court charges. he can check online to see if he was needed. try calling that number it is a recording. his only hope is that he was not needed and then they won't even know he didn't call. the message should still be available if you call asap
