I don't agree with that or racism at all. I think people should stop making fun of ALL races. I am not black by the way i am Venezuelan and Irish, German, Dutch etc.

I think that you should re phase your question. Why do people think is is funny to make fun of someone else. Regardless of race. Just in case you don't already know white people aren't the only people that make fun of others. Every race has people that make fun of other races. People can be cruel. I like to think what goes around comes around. I agree being racist regardless if you are black,white,mexican etc makes you miss out on meeting some really nice people.

The main word that you used is can't. You can but you shouldn't is the better word. It is wrong to make fun of anyone. Now there is a difference between making fun of and laughing together at certain things that happen in society. Making fun of someone is belittling them and degrading them.

i agree, it's disgusting. sam c does it on yahoo...and others. it's totally unnecessary and shows how poorly educated and ignorant they are. i'm not black either but i have friends of all races and my mum was married to a black man. anyone who is capable of using their brain knows that colour isn't what makes a person and racists miss out on knowing some great people just because they're of a race they discriminate against

They make fun of them everywhere. They don't have to be on Yahoo! answers even though a lot of people do that. It is all just ignorance. They just want to feel like they are better than everyone else because they hate themselves. I hate it too. My grandpa is like that and it's quite embarrassing. I hate it.

I agree with you and do not think it is okay. My answer is because they are ignorant and do not know better. Unfortunately a lot of people were raised believing it's OK.
