yes, so i could make sure all my loved ones know how much i love them and so i could spend more time with my kids instead of worrying about next months bills or whatever! and so i could do some of the things i dream about before my time is up.

I would not. I would have a harder time finding meaning in society knowing when I will end. I would not be able to function. It is something that no intellegent person would want to know, nor can any human being be able to handle such definitive information. Even when someone is diagnosed with a terminal illness, they still have the hope that they will beat the odds. If the information becomes a fact, I really don't think that the human brain is capable of handling such a concept.
Curiosity is a rotten condition though. I don't know how much self control I would really have when it came down to it.

If I could know the moment of my own death, then free will would be a lie, and everything I believe in would collapse along with it. I wouldn't mind knowing the probability of my own death, because it would give me something to conspire against. The answer would change with every action I took, positive or negative however. That would certainly be the challenge of a lifetime.

Of course I would want to know. That would mean that up until that point I would be essentially immortal! Totally cool!
I could do things I would have never had the nerve to do otherwise. It would be like having a super power.
Then there would be no fear of death.
But I would want a totally cool costume, for sure.

Unlike most people, I would love to know. If I know I'm going to die in a car crash twenty years from now, I'd lose all of my fear. I wouldn't hesitate to go skydiving or anything else I've always wanted to do. I'd travel the word without fear, and best of all, I'd have a deadline to keep me motivated. I'm sure hardly any of us can say that we have lived life to the fullest every day. If you actually know when you're going to die you're not going to just waste your time on yahoo answers, you'll go out and do something amazing with the time that is left.

it would be tempting,
maybe when i'm on my Golden Years.. so i wouldnt waste my remaining days.
but at my age, it's like knowing how many more years i'd live..
i would be counting the years.
i'd spend my lifetime feeling helpless. like a convicted murderer with a Death sentence waiting...
on the bright side(for people with bright dispostion)
i know for sure they'd take advantage of the time remaining...
of doing what they Love the most, no worries of the outcome of their endeavors.. simply living...
honestly, im not one of those optimistic people..
as a Realist, i know for sure that Death is inevitable.
so whhether i know or not the exact date of my Death
wont make any difference at all..
all i know, today could my last day...
& the "now" is all that i have the power to "know" & to "live"
:-)

Wow I am not sure about this. I think if I knew though I might live my life to the fullest and not waste time on other things. FOr example taking that trip to Greece and Italy :)))) that I have been saying for years that I would go with my friend.
Going for that acting lesson.......
Getting married having children :))))
Doing the things that my heart desires.....................
In all honesty I do not want to know though because I still have a whole life to live and make the things above happen

I wouldnt want to know. If I did then I wouldn't live my life the way that it was supposed to be lived. I would just sit around and be depressed or hurry things just to fit it all in at once. I rather live my life carefree and that way I wont miss out on anything or regret anything.

I would want to know. That way I could take all the risks I wanted knowing full well nothing would happen to me, as it was not my time yet!

Definitely. If knew, for example, I were going to die in a car crash I would ask my mother-in-law to go shopping with me that day and that I would drive.
