Amateur Radio is the king of all hobbies.
You can design, build, experiment, share, learn, teach....
Amateur Radio is a terrific hobby that equips you to do missions work as well as many other activities that will benefit not only yourself but others around you.
http://www.arrl.org is a good place to get information on it.
The hobby is less expensive than most activities for men, it is educational, you can build things, learn how things work, talk to people all around the world, become entrenched in the fraternal friendship shared among Ham radio operators world wide, and serve your community and the world with emergency and disaster relief commnuications.
If your going to do something, why not do something that is as good for the world as it is for you?
I am proud of Amateur Radio as my hobby and I love every minute of it.

My current hobby is fan-vidding. I make music videos for my favorite TV shows and movies with editing software. It helps me keep my editing skills sharp while I'm out of class for the summer (I'm a film/TV major).
I also like reading and writing fiction.
I'm hoping to pick up a few new hobbies including scrapbooking, and maybe Latin dance or swing.

My favorite hobby is working on my rug hooking. I have done alot of them in the past. You can easily buy some kits from Ebay. I find when I do work on the rug hooking the day goes by really fast. They are fun & relaxing to as well.

My current hobbies include oil painting and photography. My previous hobby was jewelry making, which has grown to such proportions that it's not really a hobby anymore--it's heading towards career....

My favorite hobby is leather working.
A good start is to go to:

There is a store locator. Find one near your home, go in and talk to them. They are knowledgeable, and can set you up.

It depends on what you like. I would need more information than that. I need to know what you already do, so then I can suggest things.
If you like sports, try out for a sports team.
If you like to surf the web, get a messenger, and try to find your friends online.
It really just depends on what you like!
