Depending on the Hotel you need to be 18 or 21 to rent a room. A credit card will make a big difference, since the hotel is less likely to give you a problem if you do have one.

I do believe that you have to be 18...but you can call the hotel ahead of time. I'm assuming that all of the hotels on the strip would require you to be at least 18 (after all, they want people to gamble, and at 17 you won't be). You could check with the smaller hotels around, like a days inn or holiday inn, they might let you book if you are 17. Best of luck to you....

I work for a Casino and I guarantee you that you must be 21 to get a room.
But for a non-gaming Hotel (one without a casino) room you have to be 18.
Don't believe what they say about booking online Las Vegas is so busy that they can turn down anyone specially if their gaming license is at stake.

Any hotel with a casino will require you to be 21 to check-in. Most of the major chains in town also will require you to be 21 but you may have some lucl staying at a small hotel/motel.

you have to be over 18 to book a room any one under the age of 17 is still conder a minor so you need your parents approval .
