Am I some what different in my thinking that, the war in Iraq forget the money issue and thats an issue for sure but, the real disagreement I have is the "lives" that have been lost is by far the "problem" with most of us agreeing on this issue?

You who are so generous with lives being lost in wars, are far from giving what you think is needed, i.e. COWARDS.

Although the debt we've incurred will hurt generations, I agree that the nearly one million people murdered is by far worse, as are the 4 million refugees, the tens of thousands torture and raped, and the general destruction.
This is why so many of us were against it from the start.

we were told that the war and the reconstruction of Iraq would be paid for with Iraq oil. Wonder when that will happen.
also, I get a kick out of supporters of the war that like to say that more people are killed by drunk drivers every year like that actually has something to do with the troops that lost their lives in Iraq. Ironically, most of the people that say that think that there was a link between 9-11 and Iraq. If that were the case, using their logic, Iraq isn't worth the trouble as there have been more lives lost in Iraq than in 9-11

Do you not think we had lives lost in every war we have been in. If a life being lost stopped a war we would of never become a free country. Freedom does have a price and many of us do see the need to have the Middle East changed dramatically and Iraq is the starting point.

More lives were lost in one month in WWII to free a world of Adolf. People even saw fit for the US to stay out of the war. Aren't you glad that you don't speak German living under world control of a Nazi regime? Who taught you to create sentences anyway? Punctuation, try it sometime.

The issue of the war in Iraq is freedom versus terrorism. It costs money and lives. Freedom is worth fighting and dying for. If you don't want soldiers to die, go to a country that does not have an army.

The consequences of the Iraq War outweigh the benefits by far. You are not alone in thinking that the lives lost are more important than the money, but it seems like money appeals to people today far more than human life.

Well then treat the life's that are lost as heroes, and not as an excuse for getting out of a necessary war. Honor these men and women for their efforts of freedom, not to further your political career.

If we do not finish this mess now, many more lives in the future will be taken on American soil. We cannot stop until these people learn to live in peace. They need to learn that we are not their enemy. If we wanted to wipe them out, we could have done so. We are just smacking them around right now trying to make them see the light. Let's face it, they way they live right now is not healthy for the rest of the world. There is no turning back now.

Yeah you're different in your thinking. Lives lost for freedom? 4 years and we have 3400 lost. In 30 days we lots 7,000 Marines and 30,000 Japanese on Iwo Jima! Get some perspective dude!
