is it a good or bad omen?
and i did it in two days...the first day the bird bounced off and flew away....the second day the bird hit the windshield and died...

I can't imagine in what way that would be a GOOD omen.

I'd say the bird's having a lousy day... ;)
Superstition has it that a bird hitting a window is bad luck - possibly even a death in the family. Honestly? We have birds slamming into our kitchen window almost weekly. So far, we still have a family!
I think it means there are too many cars and not enough space for the birds. I wouldn't let it upset you. Say a prayer for the bird and move on.

I hit a huge crow while driving on the highway and thank God it did not break my windshield. I do not know what happened to the bird but I was scared as hell. I do not think it means anything bad or good, stuff just happens...

Superstition only encourages fear.
Say a prayer for the bird, promise yourself to slow down a little, and move on.

i think that it means that either you or the bird was not looking where you were going. never heard of it being good and it was definately bad for the bird

It just means you either wounded or killed a poor bird!! Sorry, but I'm not "superstitious!!" At all !!! I wouldn't try to make something out of nothing, hun!! You just simply hurt a bird...Smile!!!

I am very spiritual, and dude....... it's not an omen.... i think i means you driving to fast. Don't worry at all. in my eyes... i'd say your cool.
