your local health department will have a bf consultant and you can call her anytime and she will help you. I would pump after the baby has nursed and it takes a week or so to build up milk. So i recomend....15 min on each side AFTER the baby has nursed at a minimum of 20 min. It is important to do both side the same amount of time so one boob isnt making more than the other. Remember it will take a week and id look at a photo of the baby or the baby too as that stimultes the let down. Good luck and make sure to call her. Its like le leache club or something like that and its a bf consultant. Growth spurts are a what seems to be problem becasue women think their milk stopped but its that the baby has dried them up faster and it takes a while to go from 5 oz on each boob to 10 oz. i dont really know how much oz are in a boob prolly not that much until a lot older but it was an example of what i ment. STOP THE FORMULA! She will cry and grunt and grown but it is temporary. For thousads of yrs it has worked and no formula was around. She will not latch on properly to ur boob and get frustrated and it will hurt ur nips more and she will soon **** can ur boob. Babies nurse every 2 hrs at most for a bout 40 min. If u strat bfing at 10 at 10:40 she is done. At 11:30 she may want a pacy and at 12 it is grub time again. So you dont have much down time, ever. But bfing is good as long as you make it non stressful for all 3 of you.

i hope you didn't tell her that her breasts are saggy. after a baby a women feels weird about her body. its gonna be about a 6 or 7 months before her boobs get a little fuller but they will NEVER be the same before the baby. guess you better start saving for those implants.

Your wife should slap you. You are basically insulting her after she had your child. And for your ignorant question they will never be the same as they we before. Having a baby changes a woman's body OK. At least she has a reason for her breast. What the reason for your mentality?

War is hell on men and babies are hell on a woman's body. Sorry solider. You just had a child and her boobs are not what they use to be? I think it's a fair trade. My wife has had three beautiful babies and I don't care if she has to sling them over her shoulder to keep from tripping on them, it's worth it to me to be a dad times three. However, it does make women self conscious so maybe you should keep those comments to yourself.

Till you buy her a breast job to lift her breasts. If she breast feeds her baby they will sag even more and get smaller.

I'll give you the same response I gave my husband when he was so bold as to ask me that question himself,
"Buddy, they're only going south from here! Get over it!"
And whether she's nursing or not...all women's breasts move south over her life time unless they have cosmetic surgery!
