When I was 5 years old we lived in this big 3 bedroom house, and it had a bar off of the kitchen with stools, right next to the sliding glass door, was the last stool, you could touch the door with your knee, while sitting on the stool. Well, one particular night, my parents went out, and we had my step mom's neice living with us, so she babysat all of us. Well while she was in the kitchen making us something to eat, some of us were sitting at the bar, I was the one sitting right next to the sliding glass door..... Well behind the kitchen we had our laundry room with a back door at the end of it, right. Well, my step cousin yelled at me, to stop kicking the bar, right.. Well, I kept telling her I wasn't!! When all of a sudden she yells at me, "Christy get over here, NOW!!!" And yells at all of us to get over there now!! This was the "60s" no one locked their doors, some of us didn't even have telephones.. All of a sudden she yells "Prowler!!" And we all ran for the back door, and 'Dog-piled' against the back door, while this prowler kept fighting us to get in the door, we all managed to get enough weight against the door so he would stop, but before he did, he through in the door his, stocking that he had on his head, right!! Well, my step cousin then "Yells, at my brother, to run to the front door to lock it!!" Then we all went into the front living room and all of us bundled-up into the corner of the living room while my brother who was only 9 years old, went around checking all of the windows in the whole house to make sure they were all locked. When she, Vicky, tells my brother, "Jimmy you have to run next door and borrow the neighbor's phone, to call the police, while I watch the girls!" Years later my brother told all of us, how terrified he was that night, that he would run into the prowler!! That all kinds of thought's went through his head that the guy would stab him, or kidnap him!! How sad is that!! The cops came and went!! They checked everything out, and left, and told us all that we would be safe, and that they would circle the area in a couple of hours to check on us again... Well when my dad & step mom got home, he was so mad that he wasn't there to beat this guy up!!! My Dad's father was a "professional Boxing Trainer!!" So all of my dad's brother's and him, all were brouht up fighting, there way through life!! I dont think any of them ever had a FEARFUL bone in them!!! So, us girls knew our father would have gone after the guy, had he been home!! So, he was pretty upset for a few days afterwards that he wasn't home that evening!! So, that will always stick in my memories, that I was about an inch away from a "Burgler" when I was only 5 years old, and maybe even been hurt had the sliding glass door not been locked-shut!! That's what the banging was, him trying to open it!!! He kept pulling, & pulling on it!!! I cant believe I didn't notice the guy's shadow, or the noise!! I guess we were all talking pretty loud while he was doing this!! I dont know, but I'll never forget it, the rest of my life, I will say that!! Great Question, hun!!!

The scariest/creepiest thing I've encountered are evil people who think they are normal, judgemental people who think they are without sin and people who believe everything they hear.
If you are asking about supernatural stuff, that isn't scary to me. Those times have made me either mad or sad depending on the energy but not scared or creeped out.

I lived in a haunted house. I noticed that my makeup and other personal things were missing, and although I never saw her, the ghost was nicknamed Atlantis. Once she turned on all the burners on the stove, and sometimes I'd feel her hugging my leg, just like a little kid hangs on her mother. Another time, I was packing for a picnic and I told her she couldn't go and she nearly slammed the cooler lid down on my fingers.

i have had a couple of creepy things happen to me. One time i had just rented a duplex and i went to a friends house to hang out and watch tv. then his cousin called me and told me tht the water was running in my house... so we went over there and all the cabinet doors were open and the water had went EVERYWHERE in the house. so i shut off the water and closed the cabinets and left to my friends again... then his cousin called me and told me that the water was running again. so i went back and it was running again. Another time in a different apartment my husband and i were asleep and it was cold so i asked him if he would turn on the heat... he kept telling me no cause he was too sleepy to get up then all of the burners on the stove turned on and so did the heater. I have never felt threatened by who ever this spirit is but recently the activity has stopped.

Definitely it was hearing someone walking through my grandparents' house very early in the morning....walking down two flights of stairs to the basement .... rattling the grate for the coal furnace...and no one ever coming back up the stairs. It was about an hour before anyone got up.
That house was definitely haunted. My sister remembers hearing and feeling someone brush past her as she slept on the sofa. Same time of the morning, same result. No one ever came back up.

Truthfully...I saw this gargoyle like thing outside my bedroom window (it was a silhouette). Previously I had finished the book, "Communion" by Whitley Streiber about some guy who supposedly (in real life) got abducted by aliens and then escaped and came back to earth. I thought the whole book was a bunch of crap and didn't believe it. Then that night I saw that THING outside my window, it terrified me beyond my capacity...never felt that depth of horror in my entire life. It was like the terror and horror was emanating out of my whole body. I literally jumped out of my room, all the while I could hear a voice in my head saying getoutgetoutgetoutgetout.
Never got scared like that so bad in my whole life!

people who chew loudly or smack their gum annoy me to no end. there is this enormous balding female who smacks her gum on the bus at the same time as bouncing to what ever music she's listening to on her iPod like she's in some rap video and he or she is the winner of all issues demanding.... when I see her I do each and every thing in my means to take a seat on the different fringe of the bus from her.

Shadows on the wall.
And nobody there to cast them.
Of course, that was just a bad dream, but I nearly wet myself.

A person who gossips, slanders, and tells you that they like to know everything about a person, dump them, and then destroy their reputation.
Someone once told this to me, and I kid you not, I freaked and my instincts was this person was vicious, and insane.
