people say extreme things that are scary, these are people that could be the next hitler. I'm kidding about that but some of these people really need to look at facts before they talk. They are questioning 9/11 and saying the pilots could barely fly a plane and how did they do it? Well the answer is they took lessons, remember they had classes and flight instruction. How did they come up with the plans, it took them years to figure out their plans for the terrorist attacks. So why are people gullible enough to believe that the U.S. did it themselves. That really worries me that people are that extreme to think something like that, I guess they have never heard of treason, they have stepped over the freedom of speech line into treason in my opinon. Just like you can't yell fire! in a crowded building if there isn't one. I'm just amazed there are people like that. I don't know if they are just that extremist or if they have mental problems, but they need to look at the facts and see.

These are people who should be fitted for a tinfoil hat and then a straightjacket. I'm no fan of Bush but most of these people are just looking for attention...it's sort of like Howard Stern or professional wrestling...say something shocking and see how long people will talk about it.

If the facts of the event were so obvious, then you wouldn't have people questioning them; it's that simple.

How can you "fear" an opinion? Please explain that. Using hyperbole to conflate people with opinions to Hitler can be construed as a bit of fear mongering in it's own right so why the hysteria?

People who are 100% sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt that 9/11 was exclusively carried out by outsiders should simply disregard the opinions of others who disagree and move on. Maybe the real fear is coming across a credible individual who may have compelling evidence to make you think twice; it's possible. People have been convinced of greater things in the past.

It took the west CENTURIES to conceded that the earth was NOT at the center of the universe. I'm sure people called Copernicus a loony, a "tin-foil" wearing heretic.

The fact of the matter is there are some unresolved inconsistencies in how the Towers fell; most notably Building 7, which fell seven hours AFTER 1&2, and fell in 6.6 seconds flat, symmetrically on it's foot print. That's not a theory. That's a fact. And it's also an unresolved issue because the 9/11 commission reports omitted any information about Building 7.

Want to stick your head in the sand and disregard that inconsistency? That's perfectly fine, you have the right to do so. But others have equal rights in demanding answers to issues that are not so cut and dry. And having theories, nothing more than opinions, and questioning the government is what makes this country great.

Wanting to stifle individuals from drawing their own conclusions simply because you don't share them sounds like fascism to me. But that's just my opinion; take it or leave it.

Now, almost 6 years after the "attacks" on 9/11/01, a survey of New Yorkers has found that 67% now believe the government is lying about the attacks and over 50% conclude our government in partnership with big business was behind it. Why do New Yorkers think these things? Because they have now heard the stories of those who were actually there and they know that the WTC was rigged with explosives--not just building 7 as first thought, but the whole damn World Trade Center.

The FTC records for the Enron investigation were lost in building 7 and so there was no prosecution or recovery for the 70 billion lost to Enron by the State of California. There's part of your motive; the bigger part is all the money to made from wars.

I don't believe the US was involved, however, we have to be able to question authority. If not, then they have absolute power, and that's even more scary. Let people say what they will and be thankful for that freedom.
As far as yelling fire, that's different. That's criminal intent. Your looking to cause hysteria, or insight a riot.
Treason is an act against your country, not an accusation against your government.

ok, everyone is entitled to their own opinion about this. I just wish that everyone that believes this stuff would stop and think about all the families of the people who died that day. the pain has to be terrible and now they have to hear how the country they live in may have been responsible for that pain. It not only is the most ridiculous theory I've ever heard, but it is also very cruel that people would voice their opinions to where those families would hear them.

The question you would need to ask yourself before posting a question like this is: "Does the most secretive, inept, divisive, potentially dishonest administration in the history of this nation feed the conspiracy theories?"

Once you've asked yourself that question hopefully you will then read the constitution and understand that none of the statements you refer to qualify as treasonous. Treason is a specific point of law not an opinion held by an uninformed citizen.

Fear implies some doubt about the outcome.

Dispair would be more accurate.
