On the current style Corolla most will have steel rims. These will be black with a cosmetic silver plastic wheel cover over them.

The optional aluminum wheels are silver painted and obviously will not have a wheel cover.

If you are talking about tires, then they are Radial tires. Most likely steel belted. There is no aluminum in tires.
Wheels can be aluminum or steel. Use a magnet to find out. If the magnet sticks, it is steel.

i'm guessing they are actually rubber.

you have listed a tire size, not a rim size.

basic rule of thumb, if a wheel is very plain, probably steel. if they have even a little bit of style, most likely aluminum. another way to tell is to put a magnet on them. will stick to steel, not aluminum.

Tires are the rubber part that goes around the rim which is what you are more than likely meaning. But if you want to know what they are try a magnet if it sticks to the rim it's steel otherwise its Aluminum

Now it's time for my 10 points for best answer please, Thank you

what you described is the rubber tire, can't tell what kind of rims from that information. However, Steel is magnetic, aluminum isn't, check with a magnet.

That is the tire, the wheels (RIMS) are what the tire is placed on. Check the edge of the chrome colored portion the tire is connected to. If they are stock and on a newer vehicle I believe they are probably aluminum

Try sticking a fridge magnet on the wheel--it it sticks, it's steel...if not, it's aluminum. Tire size doesn't matter.

If you are referring to the tires then if a radial they use steel or a special fabric like Kevlar for the radial portion. Why does it matter? If you need a good tire go to a tire shop and get prices on good name brand tires.

Got a magnet?

sticks to it = steel
doesn't = aluminum.

I assume you're talking about the rims.
