particular! there's a drastic selection in this election suitable to this difficulty. people who stated that it makes no distinction and that no longer something could replace are flawed. interior the controversy on the Saddleback Church, the two applicants have been asked at what element an toddler is granted human rights. McCain stated "at concept". Obama, besides the incontrovertible fact that stated, "answering that query with specificity is above my pay grade" ! maximum people who help abortion could say that a toddler is a human whilst it is born alive. Obama, besides the incontrovertible fact that, does not even take this place. he's plenty to the extreme interior the help of abortion, at circumstances even refusing to guard babies as quickly as they're born alive. in certainty, he stood interior the way of the passage of the "Born Alive toddler secure practices Act" in Illinois. This act defines an toddler that's alive after delivery as being a human, a guy or woman, or somebody. (This act replaced into re-presented and handed in Illinois after Obama left the state senate.) Obama refuses to even acknowledges an toddler after delivery as a human with rights! i do no longer assume that Roe vs. Wade would be overturn, besides the incontrovertible fact that, I additionally reuse to vote for a president who does not even admire the existence of an toddler after delivery!

The most important issue to me in this election is the unchecked growth of entitlements (Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid) that will bankrupt this nation if nothing is done. Something has to be done to make these programs self-sustaining if this nation is going to continue to be great. Unfortunately, I don't hear many candidiates speaking about this issue (yet).

The thing that honestly most concerns me, is the so-called war in Iraq. President Bush is an idiot, and I can't wait for him to get out of office. Immigration is also another big thing because Pres. Bush is practically inviting the illegals into this country. And BTW I think it would help if the soldiers were allowed to do something!!! And the border patrol agents taht shot and kille those illegals should be released. If I was president, they would be excused for shooting them illegals. This war, and the illegal immigration are the biggest things, and with the Dems. in the House/Senate, and with a New President, hopefully this will all be fixed.

I can't pick just one issue, the war is very important but I wouldn't vote for an anti-war but anti-choice candidate.
but I would vote for anti-choice Ron Paul because he has so many other positive factors.
I'd say ending the war, women's rights, civil rights (particulary gay marriage), and health care are the most important issues to me.
I know where the candidates stand. I love issues2000.org- I honestly wouldn't be able to choose the candidate that is best for me without it.

End to the war.
Yes, Obama voted against it in the first place. One of the few who predicted this as the outcome in a speech 6 months before the invasion started. He's never waivered from this stance even with all the Bush propoganda about WMD's.
Keep abortion legal. Yes, Obama supports the upholding of the Roe v. Wade laws that are already on the books.
Pro-education. Yes, he most definitely supports this. He graduated from Harvard and holds education in high regards.

Global warming is the most important issue to me. If we don't reduce our greenhouse gas emissions significantly and soon, we could face catastrophic climate change which will impact every person on Earth.
I support John Edwards, who has a plan to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by the year 2050. This is more agressive than even the G8 play which had hoped to reduce worldwide greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2050.

I don't have a favorite candidate yet. I will probably choose based on several issues, but the most important to me is cheaper health care.
