Quatt, they are not mongols...in fact most Icelanders (including her parents) can trace their ancestors back to the 700's in Norway. Nice guess though, read some of Iceland's history.

I dunno why, she is one of my favorite singers but I've never figure this part of her out though.

It's because they belong to the race known as Mongoloid. There are different type of people in the world, Caucasian, *******, Chinese, Indian and mongols. They belong to the last one and have features evolved from living in a cold climate such as fatty faces and narrow eyes. Just think of Eskimos, Mongols and Red Indians from Canada. They all look the same.
