the main computer still has internet but the others arent connected and the program for the wireless is gone. thanks for your help.

Reinstall software, or find out how to reset your modem and router. If there was a power surge it could have fried the wireless portion of your router.

It really depends a lot on how you get wireless internet. If you are using a router, like Linksys, D-Link, or Belkin - you may just be able to reset the router with a button on the back (all and any settings for the router would be erased). It may even be just as easy as unplugging the router for a few minutes then plugging it back in. If wireless is built into the modem you may be able to use the steps above as well, but chances are you will have to log in to the modem router and change some settings in there. If you rent the equipment, you can also call the provider, and they should be willing to walk you through any steps needed.

If the wifi unit has gone black and has smoke coming out of it then you might consider getting a new one.
