I'm going through a situation with Paternity, we are doing a dna test when he's born but anyway, I have a 2 year old son, and during pregnancy I always "taped big" with him, he was a big baby, and i'm 31 weeks pregnant again, he's either my 2 year olds son's father or my current bf, but my question is.. I'm also "taping big" this time, does that mean the chances of my son's father being the father are greater, or does that just mean I carry big babies?

Just means you carry bigger babies hun. Father's have no real play in that roll. Good luck with the paternity issue as well, hopefully it turns out the way you want.

The way you carry a baby and the size of the baby is really all in your genes....it doesnt matter the fathers size...my kids have different fathers, and the biggest father actually produced the smaller baby although they were only 3 ounces different....on another note my family has a gene for big babies and I mean big babies!!!...my poor sister carries the gene and she had 12 pound babies!!! Luckily they werent like my grandfathers...one was 14 pounds the other 16!
Good luck to you..I hope everything works out the way you want it to!

Belly "tape" measurements are so far from an exact science that I don't even know why doctors still do that... it's no sign of who the father might be whatsoever... Your measurements can vary greatly depending on how much fluid you have, how much fat your abdomen had before and since getting pregnant, and I'm sure a little bit has to do with the baby. But not enough to say that one baby measuring big means that another big baby would be from the same dad.

Half of the baby's genes are yours, so it could be you who is responsible for the baby being big. It could also be the father, but that doesn't mean you can determine which man is the father just by how big the baby is right now.
RELAX, it will all work out in the end.

I'm afraid you'll have to wait for the dna test every pregnancy is different no matter who the father the fact that they are both big could just mean that they are both big id doesnt necessarly mean anything about the father to begin with
good luck

How you carry the child isn't any indication of who the father would be. Only a DNA test would know for sure.
Belly measurements aren't even a reliable indication of the size of the baby, either. My daughter "taped" small, and my ob/gyn was concerned, but she was born average size.

It really doesn't have anything to do with it. It could be either one's baby. I was huge by the end of my pregnancy according to the measuring tape but my son was on 6lbs 1oz when he was born (at 37w 5 days). You will just have to wait and see whom the father is you can't speculate at this point.

I am a mother of one child. I was also, "taping big". They estimated my daughter at 13lbs when I was pregnant, during my entire pregnancy I gained 60 lbs. My daughter was born at 10lbs, 13oz. The doctors say that typically for your first child is the smallest. That is the main reason I am in no rush to be pregnant again. I hope that helped you. =D

I think that it just means that you are carrying big healthy babies and the father doesn't have anyhting to do with how big your baby is inside of you.

The dad shouldn't matter... you may just carry big babies. "Taping" is seriously innacurate because it doesn't account for the mom's weight, diet etc... also if you have gestational diabetes you will sometimes have big babies.
