just because there arent...not everything has to be completely gender balanced...plus it was the 80s, the whole PC thing hadnt taken over yet. I myself dont really mind that there r no female mutants. there r plenty of female characters n villains. besides, as long as panthro is around im happy...prrrr ;)

Actually there were two female Thundercats...Cheetara and Pumyra who was added later. But I think what you are asking is why there were no female bad guys like S-s-slithe or Jackalman. I think they probably did not have any female mutants because the producers felt male characters were more ominous and threatening.

Maybe the Thundercats are gay. Did you ever think of that? Check out those outfits. They could hit the nightclubs with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Not that there's anything wrong with gay cartoon characters!
