Try "field of interest." That's a pretty common and acceptable term in applications at colleges.

"concerning field" is not correct. "Field of concern" would be more right but would imply that you were worried about something in the marketing field.
I'd make it "intended specialization" or "planned area of focus" -- you don't want "field" twice in a sentence. You need a "the" between "about" and "marketing" as well.

No, it does not make sense. Concern is not the right word to use either and you should not start with because.

Your sentence is gramatically incorrect, it does not make sense and is repetitive. Try something like this:-
'Because my chosen field and prime interest is Marketing, I have tried to concentrate on learning more about that particular topic'.
'Concerning field' doesn't make sense,
