Honestly, i didnt read all of it. I had a 35 hour labour with no drugs, couldnt eat or sleep though it as i was getting contractions no further than 20 minutes apart from the very start of it, so yeah, that was fun. I tried to eat, but it all came back up. In Australia, the bubs stay with mum as well, which i think is good really, i couldnt handle leaving my baby in some room where i couldnt keep an eye on them. My boy didnt sleep very well in hospital either, because i also couldnt breasfeed (i know, what a horrible neglectful mother i am!!, Someone, call child services!!) He had my colustrum, but was crying pretty much all day/night in hospital. Put him on formula when he was about 4 days old, and he slept like a, well, baby, because i wasnt starving him. If anyone accuses you of 'starving' your baby with formula, tell them the grow the f!ck up. I mean, really.

If you are experiencing pain, you do need to see a doctor right away. Ectopic pregnancy is one reason for seeking medical advice. Other less worrisome reasons such as ligament stretching may apply but to overlook the possibility of an extra-uterine pregnancy could be fatal.

It would be better to be safe then sorry.

Sandy :O)

Hey, I had that as well, it was a cyst, it eventually when away...you can always go to your doc and they can look at it for you. If you aren't having horrible pains w/ bleeding you are fine. It's funny cause people ask questions like this on here all the time, my answer...YOUR PREGNANT! haha YOur body is going to change a lot, don't worry about those little aches, they are just the joys of being pregnant.

It is called ligament pain and it is totally normal. It is just the walls of the uterus stretching out! It goes away in a little while, but will return off and on throughout the pregnancy!

I have heard of people having pain on their ovaries while pregnant I guess because your body has to get adjusted to whats going on inside but I hope your fetus stays strong until you get to the doctor and feel better Good Luck

The baby could be pushing on a nerve. My last pregnancy my baby was sitting on a siatic (spelling?) nerve and it was just on one side and sometimes it would get so bad I couldn't walk. Unfortunately the only thing that made it go away was giving birth

Well it's good that you call your doctor for an appointment, but if you go to the bathroom and check for spotting of blood on your panties or lots of blood is gushing down then go to the E.R.!

It could be round ligament but it may be too early for than. I would call the Doctor and see if he will take you sooner but until then, rest and try not to worry too much.

Good luck!

I would get to the doctors as soon as possible to make sure that its not an ectopic pregnancy
