Why are White people constantly being portrayed as racist by the media?

They act like monorities aren't racist.

From my personal experience, there are FAR more racism and discrimination against White people. Plus minorities tend to be a lot more racist than White people.

For an example, Black comedy/TV shows often making fun of White people, but you NEVER see White comedy/TV shows making fun of minorities

It funny how some people here think that I'm White when I'm actually only half-White

Well, first thing off...monorities is actually spelled ...MINOR ITIES..from the Latin, meaning... small, less than,.... and secondly...as a minority member myself...not only do I experience racism and predjudice from Whites on the worksite, in grocery stores, from the police, at the bank, in my own government, I also experience it from my own community members! So, on the whole , I personally do not see minorities blaming white people constantly for everything, although I do hear lots of complaints about police treatment and lack of fair job promotions. As I am sure that you know, the media is capable of taking the opinions and views of a few, and portraying them as the facts of believing masses! I think that the war in Iraq is a great example of how a few used the media to persuade many to believe in supporting this war. Just because you see something portrayed in the media repeatedly.....does that make it true? Are most fathers as lazy and cluless as the TV fathers on many successful sitcoms? Also, I would invite you to attend any local comedy club or improv school night and see the scores of very unfunny, tired material that degrade,ridicule and propogate stereotypes of almost every culture....except whites. (Jeff Foxworthy et al being notable and refreshing exceptions ) Are you old enough to remember all in the family? Archie Bunker did a LOT of making fun of minorities...but it was also funny. Perhaps a few months of watching NICK at Night...catching some Chico and the Man.. Soap.....Maude....I think that ought to tickle your funnybone, as well as to feel that the scales of race bashing have been re-tipped in your (Whites) media favor again. Cheers!

According to one definition, the people in power are the only ones that can be racist because they have the power to put down based on their race oriented opinions. Making fun of white people is not racist, just rude. One problem is that people who were once a minority now think they can't be racist because they are the same race they were, but now have power and use race to suppress people claiming freedom from prejudice.
You need to go and look at Archie Bunker shows, which twisted this around nicely and was the most popular show on TV.

What shows and movies have you been looking at on TV? Blacks and Whites and other races do this to each other in comedy. They make fun of the stereotypes of all races.

Actually, rarely do I see a movie where there's a black villain and a white good guy.

I noticed that the most common combinations of protagonist/antagonist in movies are:

1. white good guy and white villain
2. black good guy and white villain

Maybe they often don't use black villains in movies because maybe most of the blacks in the audience will get angry and think the movie producer and director are racists if the villain is black.

Because whites are the worst racists; they are just in denial constantly. They know it and the rest of the world knows it. How many are going to vote for Barack Obama? There are 100's and 100's of examples of racist hate they exude but they'll always excuse themselves. If I were part of a cursed race I wonder how I'd behave...probably a lot like if not worse than they do (leprosy; cursed with white skin in the Bible).

I'm trying to get out of America...I just don't know where to go yet. I hate the constant racism and white bigotry here and it's not getting any better.

when black make fun of white, it's called "reverse discrimination". because "racism" WAS invented by europeans in the 16th and 17th century. sorry but it's true.

it's like in the u.k. some white kids ALWAYS HARRASS(even physical beat) the asian kids for no reason except out of stupidity.
cause - n -effect: after awhile asians got so ****** tired they become hella racist towards whites in u.k. to "reverse discriminate".

because the media is controlled by america hating leftists who are hellbent on a marxist/socialist totalitarian one world government...aka "the new world order". in order to obtain this, they must destroy america from within.

white people make up the majority of america and are responsible for it's prosperity. in other words, we are in their way. if america is prosperous, they have little chance of obtaining their agenda.

so they use the media, hollywood, education, and all forms of communication to spread anti white propaganda. same way hitler influenced the germans against the jews. it's like brainwashing.

when they constantly hammer into the public's mind over and over that white people are evil racists who are the cause of all suffering in the world and are to blame for all the ills of society, they pit minorities against them and give white people a guilt complex.

meanwhile, they are creating the illusion that any whites who desire to be with their own kind and show any pride in themselves is a form of bigotry and racism. at the same time, encouraging white women to seek out minorites and breed with them, thus decreasing our numbers and increasing their's. that's why they only portray white men as dorky cowardly wimps and black men as virile, intelligent, heroes.

all in all the media is trying to influence the american population against whites to break us apart from each other while pitting minorities against us as well. when whites become a minority in america, america will collapse into a third world nation and prosperity will come to a halt leaving america virgin territory for the leftists to usher in the new world order.

Good question. I suspect it's because of the influence of a morally bankrupt, politically correct culture where appearances are valued more than basic honesty - if you appear to be giving whitey a hard time, it's allowed, since we're all supposed to be soooo concerned about skin color and not hurting the feelings of those with darker pigments. So that leaves only whitey to ridicule, if you're going to indulge in caricature.

i do no longer think of so. regardless of if there grow to be an incredibly white supremacist that works for the television station, it may purely be one worker, in no way the entire broadcast team, except the white supremacist is the owner of the station.
