Complete war of greed. Please allow me to cut and paste from my previous answer...
"Both parties understand the catastrophe that would occur in the US if we walked away from the Mid East oil patch. That's why we'll stay there indefinetely. See, instead of investing into clean fuels, we steal oil. Give me convenience or give me death, that is the motto that keeps the war machine going. Warmongers make money, oilmen make money, innocent poor people die... It will stay this way till we are ready to go solar...."

The current war certainly isn't 'justified' in it's current form. A global, total war against the 'Ummah' was justified by 9/11, by itself, but the current war of half-measures in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the comical 'war on terror,' are not justifiable, simply because they're so ineffectual.

Assuming you mean Iraq. Though I hate to say it - probably not justified. None of the reasons we were told for the war turned out to be true. I gotta admit though I was glad to see us go in to kick Hussein out. The long term cost though is way too high.

Heck yes we should be in Afghanistan. It was overwhelmingly right of us to invade them and oust the despicable swine, the Taliban. And yes, we are starting to seriously win the hearts and minds over there. I was just watching a National Geographic documentary of the green berets there, and about a hundred village elders went to Firebase Cobra to say "help us get rid of the Taliban" and this is in one of the worst areas of Afghanistan. Iraq no we should just pull out because no matter what we'll be leaving either when Bush sets benchmarks or Hillary gets into power, why even stay those extra few months. Cut our losses and go full on into Afghanistan where there is hope growing.

unjustified.
We were told that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
- nearly five years after the start of the war? Still no proof of WMD in Iraq.
We were also told that Iraq was a safe-haven/training ground for Al-qaeda terrorists.
-Bush, in a recent press conference, admitted that Al qaeda did not enter Iraq until 2005....two years after the start of the war.
do i need to go any further?

Not justified. There has never been proof that Sadaam was a threat to the USA. He was a horrible man but not worth the numerous years we have been there fighting.

It will be justified once they find the WMD's. Chances are that's not gonna happen. George Bush is a liar.

Justified, even though my son was wounded there (4 combat tours and heading back for 5 & 6), National security is a must, and that is what this is, though there are those less educated that thinks its for oil!

No, terrorists have just as much right to hate America as much as liberals without their country being invaded!
