Complementary strands.

I don't think they run in opposite directions. The entire structure of the DNA is a double helix. There are complementary base pairs which bind with each other. The strand which is an exact copy of the mRNA is called the "Sense" strand and the other one is called the "Antisense" strand.

What WORD is used to describe this characteristic.

The word is anti-parallel.

And FYI, DNA DOES run in opposite directions. It has nothing to do whether it's in a helix or not. The coiling of the helix doesn't change the sequence of the DNA.

its not that same sequence thats on both strands, its the direction of the sugar, Deoxyribose. Depending on what carbon molecule is "at the top" each ladder is marked as 3 prime (3') or 5', depending on what carbon is in line on the ring, this is known as anti-parallel stands.

Hi. The sequence does not run in opposite directions. Think of it like velcro where one side 'sticks' to the other. And listen to Linduh!

Complimentary strands. There are hydrogen bonds between the two complimentary bases that help stick them together, such as between C and G , and A and T.

nearby people are no longer East Asians in any respect. there is a tendency between Eurocentric pupils consistent with superficial likeness to assimilate nearby people with East Asians. they have an quite different DNA. Eurocentric pupils try this plenty; according to possibility they desire to coach that nearby people are no longer so "nearby" in spite of each thing and that they are descendants of East Asians who crossed the Bering Strait hundreds of years in the past. the comparable Eurocentric pupils do no longer do the comparable concern with Melanesians, papuans or perhaps the Olmecs (who seem to have "African advantageous factors"). They in no way ask no count if Melanesians, papuans or perhaps Olmecs are African consistent with their advantageous factors. Equating nearby people with East Asians proves that Eurocentric pupils and people who've been brainwashed via them have a racist time table.
