Fred Thompson and Hillary Clinton were walking down the street when they came to a homeless person.
The Republican gave the homeless person his business card and told him to come to his office for a job. He then took
$20 out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.
Hillary was very impressed, so when they came to another
homeless person, she decided to help. She walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office.
She then reached into Thompson's pocket and got out $20.
She kept $15 for administrative fees and gave the homeless
person $5...!
Now, do you understand the difference? "

Simple Republicans are the party of bad ideals and Democrats are the party of no ideals. Or everytime a Republican comes out with a bad plan a Democrat stands up and says I can make it worse and they do.

Republicans believe: Free market enterpise system provides oppertunity.
Liberals support: Government programs provide oppertunity.
R's: Victim's rights having precedence over criminals rights.
L's: The rights of criminals
R's: Capital punishment
L's: Opposition to capital punishment
R's: Support the "Right" to own guns.
L's: Strip rights away with gun control.
R's: Income tax cuts
L's: Tax increases and income redistribution.
R's: Parental choice in education using tax credits and vouchers.
L's: Government monopoly in education
R's: Employment based on merit.
L's: Affirmative action
R's; Free-market solutions to healthcare.
L's: Government controled healthcare.
R's: Traditional family values.
L's: Teaching children in elementary school that homosexuality is an acceptable atlternative lifestyle.
R's: The Sanctity of human life.
L's: Abortion on demand.
R's: Cutting Government spending and regulations.
L's: Increasing governmentspending and regulations.
R's: Eliminating government entitlement programs.
L's: Maintaining and expanding goverenment etitlement programs.
R's: defending our nation by enacting the Patriot act and catching terrorist before they strike (like seen just recently with the four atempting to destroy JFK and Aif Force base).
L's: Voting against the Patriot act, and doing nothing when American targets were attacked (Two embassies in Africa, the USS Cole, and 1993 World trade Center attack).
Dem's love high taxes. The first thing they did when taking over at the beginning of this year was pass a tax hike. Clinton coincidentaly passed the largest tax hike in American history during his reign in the oral office while doing nothing when we were attacked around the world. This is why terrorists didn't respect the U.S., our previous adminiistration did nothing to them. During the Samolia / mogadishu when they dragged dead U.S. soldiers around the streets, Clinton just pulled out and no retaliation was done. That was the point Osama said "America is a paper tiger." They no longer feared us. We are in the Middle east today becuase the dem's were in power yesterday. We are still cleaning up their mess.
The also love big govenrment! Government is their solution to all the countries whoas. Most Americans who have ever dealt with government know it is cumbersome, ineffiecient and to slow to respond to the citizens needs. Example, compare the U.S. postal service to UPS or Fed Ex. Who do you want delivering your package? to mail something across town takes three flippin days, if I'm lucky. ever deal with Social Security? DNV? pack a lunch and a book becuase you'll be standing there ALL DAY.
This is the bunch that Dem's also want government to handle our Healthcare, regulate energy and everything else a free country doesn't want. Private busisness has entered the picture in the areas of schooling our children and housing our prisoners because they do it better and much much cheaper.

Yes, the Republicans are the people that have money.........
check for yourself.....and are backed by "BIG MONEY"...
and much to "my despair".....Religious Groups....that have no business in POLITICS......"believe me...some people...if your
a Democrat ....think your anti-religious....which is "as myself, far from the truth"...To put it short and sweet, Republicans are
money and they want to keep it all amongst themselves......
Democrats are a poor man's group, "they want to give it all away".....and support some really screwy stuff.....Abortion
clinic's....is one that really gets stuck in my throat..... and gets them stuck with the "Big L" label.....LIBERAL... So no matter what the "Working men and women of this Country's middle-class, who have since the beginning of this great country "carried the ball so to speak".......are as usual in a no
win situation"........

The only difference between both of these corrupt parties is who bought them.
Corporations and religious nuts bought the Republican party.
Environmentalists and Unions bought the Democrats.
They are both equally corrupt.

Both are dishonest, corrupt, power-hungry individuals. Both will say or do anything to get the money they need to fund thier campaigns.
Once they've taken thier massive campaign contributions, they both commission negative 'attack adds' against eachother.
The difference is that the issues the Republican will harp on might include cutting taxes, banning gay marriage, banning abortion, and increasing military spending, while the Democrat will push taxing the rich, legalizing gay marriage, keepign abortion legal, and increasing entitlement programs.

A Republican pretends that the market can solve every issue, but stands idly by while the market is distorted by government subsidy and corporate welfare. They are essentially dishonest.
A Democrat pretends the government can solve every problem, but stands idly by while the government becomes captive of corporate interests and religious charlatans. They are essentially dishonest.

For what I can gather Republicans are rich kids who had every opportunity and now complain of how difficult is to bully on people who have nothing and Democrats are people coming from the bottom, people who were bullied or people with understanding.

Republicans are Evil.
Democrats are Clueless.
Though i still prefer being clueless to Evil. Republicans seem to not care much about non-financial issues, such as human rights and the enviroment. Dems tend to focus too much on these things and not look at the big picture. We need a viable third party.
