Hmm, I've been to MANY concerts, and I would have to say the most memorable was Garth Brooks, and Neil McCoy. They were two different concerts, but I can't choose between the two because they are both very entertaining on stage. I have been to many concerts that aren't country, and only a handful that were, and I remember these guys even more than I remember Ozzy. Green Day were good too.

the best concert i have ever been to was a robin trower concert at a small venue in cleveland, ohio called the odeon. his music sounds exactly the same live as it does in the recordings. some of his more known songs are 'bridge of sighs', 'too rolling stoned', 'day of the eagle' and 'daydream'. if you aren't familiar with him, do yourself a favour and check him out. you won't be sorry.
by the way, the rolling stones come in second place for me. you'd never know they were as old as they are, they put on such a great show. seeing them live made me much more of a fan than i was before i saw them perform.

I don't understand why my answer deserved the thumbs down. Obviously someone must have read it wrong and THOUGHT I said the best concert I've ever been to was New Kids On The Block. Ha, yea right! It may have been a good concert, but it was DEFINITELY NOT THE BEST one I've ever been to. If you'd PLEASE READ MY ANSWER AGAIN you will see that I said the BEST concert I've ever been to was KENNY CHESNEY and NOT New Kids On The Block.

I've been to several concerts. The first one I ever went to was in 1991 when I was almost 16 and it was New Kids On The Block. After that I saw George Strait twice, The Backstreet Boys, Gary Allan, and O-Town.
To answer the question, the best concert I've ever been to was when I saw Kenny Chesney in 2003. He really puts on a great show!!

Metallica in 1993 or 1994 I don't remember. Also, Tool did a great show in 1996 or 1997, again I don't remember. These shows were both in Austin Texas.

I've been to so many concerts, but performance wise I still think R.E.M beats out anyone else I've seen. Aerosmith comes in a close second.
