Sammy Baugh. One of the true 2 way players. Actually played 3 positions during his time. He is one of the first HOFmers. He was an All Pro QB. He led the league in Passing yards, Interceptions ( while on defense ) and Punting average. And he held those records for a long time. No other player can say he did it all like Sling'n Sammy. Not to mention the guy is a funny SOB. After getting slaughtered by the Bears in the Championship game, he was asked if his pass wasn't intercepted did he think the out come would have been different. He replied " yeah, it would have been 73 - 7"
True sportsmanship right there people. Todays players could learn a thing or two from him. Notable mention would be Joe Delaney, Walter Payton, Derrick Thomas, Art Monk, Darrell Green, Warrick Dunn.

That is a great question...I think I would go with Gerard Phelan. What? You have no idea who that is? He is the guy that caught the Hail Mary that turned Doug Flutie into a household name in that little game between BC and Miami in 1984...

cant remember who it was but last year in college, there was that receiver who caught a touchdown by grabbing the ball behind the cornerback and trapped the ball on his back, while his arms were around him... it was all over espn. if i was that wide out, i would get a picture of me doing it, turn it into a several posters, and mail a signed copy to that corner every year for the rest of my life. that catch will be one for the ages.
