omg! I have the same problem. i love this girl to death, we have a strong bond, but we have grown in different ways. she still dwells on the past (we both had very difficult childhood) and carries a chip on her shoulder. while i havent by any means forgot the past I am living in the here and now. I have been doing what you are doing for years now. Our conversations are down to about 3 - 4 a year now. Unless she has a crisis, then its more often, but once that crisis has faded its back to normal. We have know each other almost 30 years.

Cut her lose...I did. Friends since 8th grade I'm 37 and cut here lose last year. I never could count on her and all she did was complain about her husband and whine because i had a life outside of her. I told her when she grew up to call me. I had finally gotten sick of hearing her.

I know exactly what you mean, My best friend and I are friends for like 25 years now, but it seems that we both changed a lot but we still hang on to our friendship for old times sake, all you can do is limit seeing her but all the memories you have together are worth it!!

My friend is awesome. I love her. She is the best thing ever. Tell her that you need some space and that you still want to stay friends but not take it overboard. Well if you call my bf a best friend, put him in that category.

I'm not entirely sure what to do about that myself! you could try telling her how you feel, or you could try simply loving her in spite of how you feel... I'm not real clear how to approach that ...... I am a guy and my best friend is a girl, and I have the same problem sometimes...... best guess, I would talk to her

Tell her you need some space. You want to say it nice but yet stern so she knows that you mean it. Don't worry everyone gets P.O by there best friends. Its human nature.

No. I'm TEAM JACOB! All of those words that you just used to describe Jacob apply much better to Edward.
