My MSN messenger quit on me,..and I need to contact someone?

I have a very dear friend, and I have emailed him, to let him know that My messenger with that company quit...but to no avail...So, I am posting this so he might see it and use Yahoo..which I prefer anyway,...So,..why does messenger just quit on you? Thankx

hiya there compassionate, hope you get it fixed, wonderin where youve been. have you tried reinstalling messenger? x
