If you didn't change anything, call BT back, especially as it it their PHONELINE and their ROUTER.

HI;
I have being reading the info from BT.
Quote:
The BT Voyager 220v is a fully-fledged ADSL router with NAT, DHCP and Firewall features, pre-configured to work on UK ADSL lines. It also provides an integrated VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) adapter with PSTN backup.

With its two integrated VoIP ports, you can connect your existing telephones and make VoIP calls over the BT Business Broadband Voice service, without the need for a separate device clogging up your desk area.

DSL has a problem, !! distance!! if the BT box is to far away from your location, you will have the problem that the speed will be to low, with the consequences that your VOIP will be affected, it could be that the Modem is design to keep the Internet connection alive, and not the VOIP connection should be the case that the general speed is too low, I suggest to verify your speed, as the VOIP + modem for the Net, should have a speed over 1MB.

Regards/Robi

You may have a internal wiring problem... or an extension that you arent aware of plugged in.

If you have the latest style BT master socket ( this is the first socket where the phone line enters the house ) - you may be able to unscrew the front of the socket and gain accress to a socket there .. plug your router and phone in there and see what you get.. this should isolate the wiring in the house.

possible offenders include - burglar alarms and sky boxes these need filters if plugged into phone lines

Have you moved the phone to a different extension socket and forgotten to move the microfilter?
