I'm getting an incorrect gear ration on my 99 honda accord v6- what does it mean?

Ask your Honda dealer if the "secret" warranty still applies on your car's transmission - replace it under warranty if it does or get rid of it otherwise.

Your transmission is going out; If your mileage is under 109,000 miles your car's transmission is still covered under warranty. Take your car to your local Honda Dealer, and speak to one of the service advisors, and explain your problem to him/her.

it means that the transmission is slipping. the engine power input does not match up to the transmission output even with the load factors.
