Please, please, please, get your feet on the ground. This is a common scam, and I don't want you to get hurt. There is about a 99.999% chance that this is some con artist that is priming you for a job. The picture that was sent to you was probably copied off of another website. It happens so frequently that Dr. Phil even did a show about it. These con men get women feeling so special and romantic before hitting them with reasonable sounding sob stories. Frequently they will talk about how they lost their passport or can't leave the country unless they come up with X amount of money that, although they will probably at first protest, they will happily take from you so that they can come over and finally be with you. But wait! Some other financial crisis will come next and they will again be burdened and in need of funds. Don't support a parasite like this, please. The only thing worse than being heartbroken is to be taken and left heartbroken. If this is actually a legitimate person in love with you then he would understand that you are not able to send him money. DON'T SEND MONEY, NO MATTER WHAT! Even if the sob story sounds so reasonable, don't do it. From what you have said, I can almost guarantee that this is the case. How can he love you if you haven't even had a detailed conversation? Please, just don't even bother getting to know him better, cut off communication before you join the hoards of women who loose their savings to these organized criminals.

Your heart, huh? More like pursuing your wallet. Do yourself a favor and delete his emails and block his address. You don't need that kind of love, believe me. Don't you watch Dateline [to catch an identity thief] and 60 minutes? Spend a little less time trying to find true love on the internet, and a little more time leading a more productive life and you might meet a real man, here.

I have to agree with above - it sounds like a scam.
If he asks you to send him money or pay for a plane ticket so he can come to visit you then you should run, not walk, away from this "relationship".
