Besides the Vietnam was were we lost over fifty eight thousand Americans and one of them was my cousin a U.S.Marine,killed in the Tet Offensive and what were we fighting there for simply because the French, could not handle it so once again the U.S.took over as usual.
I feel it was but this is my own personal because of the way we were drawn into the was by the Bush, administration and there lies that Saddam Hussein,Had (WMD),if Bush, had not lied to the American people and made real justification on why the U.S.was invading Iraq, instead of us going in there to protect our oil interests there I could live with it,but being a veteran myself and seeing all of my fellow veterans dying over there I am not happy with this at all so it is not the biggest make in the history of the U.S.but it sure as hell ranks as one of the top ten in my opinion and know one Else's.

Maybe in the heat of the moment we wanted someone to pay, Iraq did not have anything to do with September 11, 2001 and President Bush snowed the U.S. into thinking it did just by association because Iraq was run by a dictator who was unpopular to a good percentage of the Iraq population outside the Zuni Triangle and it's Middle East neighbors, his power had been decimated significantly by it's war with Iran which Reagan and Bush Sr. backed him for and Dessert Storm he was containable, other than having attempted (thankfully without success) on George Bush Sr's life in Kuwait after his own war with Saddam called desert storm. The U.S. should have finished the war in Afghanistan which was closer to the 9/11 issue harboring Osama Bin Laden and most of Al Qeda and the Taliban, but Dubya chose not to.

Very high on the list; probably just under electing Bush the second time which is just under electing Bush the first time. Once we found there were no WMDs we should have pulled out - that was what we went there for - OR WAS IT?
Keep in mind though; decisions of a leader are only as good as the information s/he receives. Bad information leads to bad decisions, good information leads to good decisions; that is unless you get someone who is so arrogant that he will not listen to any advice and twists facts to meet his own agenda.

It relies upon on the repurcussions of Iraq. If the Iraq invasion finally ends up interior the cave in of the full center east into warfare, or using nuclear weapons via/against/interior the protection of Israel, then Iraq. on the 2d i think of Vietnam, because of the fact we are able to make sure each and all of the effect of that warfare distinctive in front persons. hundreds of conscripts ineffective, a usa that maintains to be afflicted via the chemical weapons used against it and not something quite finished.

Mistake means to make an error.
Mistake may also refer to:
In Law
1-Mistake (contract law), an excuse for non-performance of a contract
2-Mistake (criminal law), styled also as mistake of fact, a defense to criminal charges on the grounds of an ignorance of a fact by which ignorance an absence of criminal intent is evidenced
3-Mistake of law, a defense to criminal charges on the grounds of ignorance of law
The US has made many mistakes, it is hard to measure them and determine which one is the biggest.
Iraq was a mistake alright, it was also a horrible crime perpetrated not only on Iraq but America as well.
