i act like i'm joking and need water....and i say "excuse me" (while coughing) and walk away ..

Don't respond to anything they say. for instance, if they say, "I really like Yahoo Answers!" DO NOT say, "yeah, I do too. I was on there the other day and ...." Just say "Cool." or "Interesting." Don't do anything to further the conversation.

If they walk into your workspace, keep looking at your computer. Or, stand up when they come in. People will rarey sit at your desk if you are standing. They will get tired of standing and leave sooner. :)

I personally, just keep typing most of the time. :) Good luck! :)

Yessssssssssssssssssssss she won't shut the f'up. I could careless about what guy she is screwing this week and its her boyfriend fault because they have a long distances relationship. Tell me whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cares? When she tries to talk to me I make short and sweet. Thank god we don't share office rooms anymore. She whined all damn day about her relationship problems so much it gave me a g@damn headache.
