About a week and a half ago I ended my last period. About a day after getting off my period I got a urinary track infection. Well that is all clear now but I started spotting today. I know it is not normal to have two periods 1 week... has this happend to anyone before? And what would cause this?

You might be having ovulation bleeding. When you ovulate the egg actually rutrues from the ovary and there can be blood. Also you might just be having mid-cycle spotting. Both of these can happen even if you've neve had them before. I wouldn't worry too much, unless you started to bleed between cycles with regularity, or you have your period and it does not stop in a week. Many times if you change birth control medications or stop or start other medications this can cause mid-cycle bleeding.

Sounds like more than a urinary track infection. Could be a kidney infection. Time to see a doctor!!!

Spotting is not unusual especially if you take birth control pills. Even without birth control pills some women spot from time to time.
